Battle maps and a virtual tabletop in your browser

WorldMaster RPG includes a free browser-based virtual tabletop. Its battle maps support square, hex, isometric and free-form grids, fog of war you can carve to any shape, initiative tracking and tokens that move live for every player, with nothing to install.

A hex-grid battle map in WorldMaster RPG

What can the battle maps do?

  • Square, hex, isometric and free-form grids with layers and undo/redo
  • Fog of war with any geometry: split and carve fog shapes and preview exactly what players see
  • Four initiative modes, on-token HP and mana trackers, effect bubbles and an active-turn indicator
  • Animated tokens, token groups, measurement and drawing tools
  • Weather and atmosphere effects such as aurora, falling leaves and birds
  • A 3D physics dice tray right on the map

How does live play work?

Everyone in the session sees the same map in real time: cursors, pings, shared viewports and tokens moving as they are dragged. Players can end their own turn, and the GM decides which scene and map is on stage.

Do I need to host anything?

No. WorldMaster RPG runs in the browser, so there is no server to host, no port forwarding and nothing for your players to install.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Maps can use square, hex, isometric or free-form grids.

Does WorldMaster RPG have dynamic lighting?

Not today. Visibility is controlled with fog of war, which you can shape freely and reveal as players explore.
