See your campaign through a player’s eyes
WorldMaster RPG lets a GM view a character’s page exactly as that character’s player sees it. Lore, locations, legends and notes show only what the character may know, and disguised characters appear under the names the player knows - so you can check what is revealed before the session starts.
How does player view work?
When you open a character’s page, it shows what that character can see. A switch under the character’s bar flips between Viewing as Player and Viewing as Game Master, so you can compare both in a second. The view applies across the page: lore, locations, notes and everything else the character can open.
- One switch between the player’s view and your own
- Lore, locations, legends and notes filtered to what the character knows
- Disguised characters shown under the name the player knows
- For an NPC, you see only what all players are shown
Why check what players see?
Campaigns with secrets live or die on what each player knows. Player view lets you confirm that a twist is still hidden, that the right clue reached the right player, and that a shared note says what you meant - without logging in as anyone else.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a second account to test this?
No. Player view runs inside your own GM account, from the character’s page.
Can players see the GM view?
No. Only the GM has the switch; players always see their own view.
