World history: your setting’s past as one book
WorldMaster RPG’s World History reads your events as a book. Ages and eras become chapters, events follow in date order, and the legends people tell hang beside each event - marked with how true each telling is, so you always know what really happened and what the world believes.
What makes it different from a timeline?
- Read as a book or as a timeline, with sticky chapters for each age
- Legends linked to the events they tell of
- A truth status for each event: what really happened, and what each character believes
- Read the history as one faction tells it
- Dates written relative to other events: “12 years into the Long Night”
Who can see it?
World History is a GM-only tab. Players learn the world through the lore you reveal to them; the true account stays with you.
Frequently asked questions
Can an event be counted from another event?
Yes. Anchor an event to the start or the end of another, and choose whether re-anchoring keeps the written dates or the place in time.
Can I record contested history?
Yes. Several tellings of one event can disagree, each marked with how true it is.
