Factions and organisations that shape your story
WorldMaster RPG gives every guild, noble house, cult and court of your campaign its own record: a charter, goals, members and ranks, and links to the events it set in motion. Secret factions stay invisible to players until you reveal them.
What does a faction record hold?
- A charter and goals that describe what the faction wants
- Members and ranks, linked to the characters who hold them
- Links to the events, lore and locations the faction is tied to
- Its own visibility, so hidden factions stay off the players’ screens
Can players look up factions?
Yes. Players browse the organisations they are allowed to see from their character page, so the party can check who runs the thieves’ guild without asking the GM mid-session. World History can even read your history as one faction tells it.

Can a character belong to several factions?
