A battle map maker built into your campaign

The map builder in WorldMaster RPG lets a GM make battle maps without leaving the campaign. You draw rooms and terrain with textured, glowing or hand-drawn shapes, sketch houses and castle walls along a line, generate whole dungeons, caves and furnished buildings, and add effects such as rain, snow or fire to any area.

What can I draw?

One draw toolbar handles shapes, fog and effects. Shapes can merge into each other, cut holes or split apart, and each one takes a texture fill, a coloured glow with its own spread and strength, or a hand-drawn sketch style. Text labels come in several fonts and styles for names, signs and notes on the map.

  • Merge, subtract and split shapes as you draw
  • Texture fills, glow and a sketch style for any shape
  • Houses with gable roofs and chimneys, drawn along a line
  • Castle walls with towers and battlements

Can it generate a dungeon for me?

Yes. The structure generator builds dungeons, caves and buildings: rooms, hallways, doors and walls, furnished room by room with beds, tables, hearths and counters that fit the space. Roll again for a new layout until one fits your session.

How do effects and tokens work?

Any shape can carry an animated effect - rain, snow, fire, stars, a tornado and more - with wind and spin, fading softly at the edges. Tokens take decorative frames, nest into groups you manage from the layers panel, and can link to a character, location, event, organisation or legend, so one click opens its dossier.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use my own map images?

Yes. Upload map art and token images to your gallery, sort them into collections and favourites, and drag them onto the map.

Can players draw on the map?

Yes, within what the GM allows: players can draw shapes, while fog and effects stay with the GM.
